What’s the earliest age a dancer can start?

At this time, we offer jazz and pre-ballet classes for ages 3 and up. Plans are underway to begin short term intro classes for our 2 and 3 year olds.

What dance styles do you offer?

We offer jazz and pre-ballet classes and tumbling for ages 3 & 4 and jazz, ballet, hip hop, jazz funk and tumbling for ages 5 to 17. For dancers 18 and older, we offer one specialty class per week with a variety of our instructors.

What is the dress code for each class?

BALLET CLASSES: All classes, tan (skin colored tights) tights and pink or tan ballet slippers;
Leotards: 3-4 Pink, 5-6 Blue, 7-9 Orchid and 10 & up Black. (Ballet skirt is optional)
Attire for ballet classes is available for purchase at the SKIP Studio.

JAZZ CLASSES: Shorts or leggings with a t shirt or tank top. Barefoot or jazz slippers

HIP HOP CLASSES: Shorts, leggings, joggers with a t shirt, sweat shirt or tank top with tennis shoes

How long is a session?

We offer three sessions per year:
Fall Session: August – December
Spring Session: January – May
Summer Camp: June – July.

How do I register my child for a class?

Registration for new dancers and returning students can be completed via our parent portal: https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/skipentco

How do I pay my tuition?

Monthly tuition can automatically be paid with our on-line system through your parent portal or paid by credit card, cash or check at the studio on or before the 1st of every month (August-May). You may opt out of automatic payments by submitting payment for the entire semester/year at the time of registration. Classes are non-refundable. If your child cannot dance due to medical reasons or you are going to be off island for an extended period of time, please contact our office.

Are there any other expenses outside of tuition?

There is an annual registration fee and costume fee. More information on these fees can be found on our parent information page.

Where can I purchase dancewear?

Most items your dancer needs for class can be purchased at the studio. If we do not have the size you need, we are happy to order for you. Visit our boutique during studio office hours and we will make sure your dancer has everything they need for class.
