SKIP opened so many doors up for me as an aspiring young dancer with big dreams. I learned good wholesome work ethics, discipline & passion being part of this company. My soul was constantly fed as much as it was challenged. Mr. & Mrs. Knapp really gave more than most ever would & sacrificed so much for so many of us. Because I was blessed to have come from this nurturing performing arts company, I was able to spread my wings in the entertainment industry. The legacy lives on & in so many of us. What we’ve taken with us & all we’ve learned is priceless.

As a former dancer and now dance mom, I know the power SKIP has in transforming the lives of its members. Dance
empowers young people, gives them confidence and instills a love for music and physical movement. Through performing and competition, you learn the value of teamwork and develop a healthy appetite for competition. You understand the meaning of excellence and through the demands on a scholar athlete, learn how to persevere. SKIP dancers gain all this plus the incredible community that is unique to this studio. The extended family and lifelong friendships gained here are truly invaluable. I say the most valuable thing I have to pass on to my daughter is SKIP and I’m so happy that she loves this studio as much as I do.

As an original member of Sunshine Kids in Production, it was only natural that the moment my kids showed interest in dance, that I bring them to SKIP.SKIP was more than a dance group for me. It was like family, and knowing that my daughters will have this family, building these long lasting friendships, and one day send their own children to SKIP, brings me so much joy. It is a privilege that they get to learn under Brian Esperon, who is also a SKIP alumni. My wife and I have watched our daughters blossom into amazing and confident dancers! We are grateful to Mr. & Mrs. Knapp for the opportunities that they have provided and continue to provide for the children of Guam over the years. We can’t wait for our grand daughter to be a part of SKIP, to continue to keep the legacy alive! Biba SKIP!

SKIP has instilled a passion for dance in my children. It has taught them the importance of hard work, determination, and working together as a team. SKIP has provided many opportunities and experiences on Guam and around the world. The most valuable thing they have gained from SKIP are the bonds of friendships and memories made along the way that will last a lifetime. SKIP is more than dance, it is a family that is deeply rooted in providing each child with the foundation to become the best version of themselves and be contributing members of our thriving community.

Being in the Navy and moving every 3 years, it’s hard to have kids establish in a permanent role in sports or dance. Since we have been on Guam, we joined SKIP. My daughter went from the basic Hip Hop class to being on the SKIP Company team. This was all because of the dedication not only by my daughter working hard, but each dance instructor taking their time and working, pushing, and making her better. Being part of the SKIP family is incredible. My daughter has made life long friends, and so have my wife and I. The SKIP family is someone you can count on, to be there for you and your kids. The SKIP employees are tremendous. They do whatever is necessary to ensure the kids are enjoying their time dancing and getting better every day. We owe everything to SKIP. It has been wonderful being part of the family.

SKIP Entertainment is a family run dance Company with a welcoming atmosphere. Their supportive and family oriented Atmosphere, outstanding teachers and Choreographers and the opportunities they Provide their students through off-island competition, auditions and community events, truly make SKIP Unique. My daughters danced with SKIP since they were five years old and we’ve never regretted it. Because of SKIP, my children and family have learned to make their education and health priorities. They have taught us skills far beyond what Is demonstrated on the dance floor, such as self-confidence, positive attitude, respect, caring and kindness.
