The SKIP Entertainment Company, Guam's premier, award winning, talent development group will produce a youth talent search called STARQUEST. SKIP will hold talent auditions during STARQUEST at various locations on Guam.

Finalists in STARQUEST will perform on stage at the University of Guam Fieldhouse August 28, 2005 during YOUTHFEST 2005. STARQUEST finalists will be judged by off-island celebrity performers, who will also perform at YOUTHFEST 2005.

There will be two winners in the finals, one solo performance winner and one group performance winner. The solo performance winner of STARQUEST will win a trip to Manila, Philippines to appear on CLUBTV, a television program that airs on Philippine TV station ABC5. SKIP performers are regulars on the TV program. The group performance winner of STARQUEST will win either a studio recording session at Redeye Sound Studio or a music video produced by Revolution Television.

STARQUEST is looking for singers, dancers and bands between 10 and 19 years of age to compete for prizes and other great opportunities.

Preliminaries; 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, August 17, 18 and 19 at Acanta Mall, Tumon.
Semi-finals; 3:00 PM, August 20 at the Agana Shopping Center, Agana.
Finals; 2:00PM, August 28 at the University of Guam Fieldhouse, Mangilao.
